We are currently seeking an Oracle Projects Business Analyst. This position, under general supervision, helps contribute and drive the implementation and maintenance of enterprise wide business systems. Is instructed and directed by other business systems analysts on both small and large projects to assure goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame. Assists in formulating and defining systems scope based on both user needs and an understanding of the business systems and industry, while working closely with other analysts to assure a total solution that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities:Continually meet with business users to understand and develop solutions that support making informed decisions.Prepare specifications to build or modify data models that support enterprise wide business systems. Monitor and manage business systems to endure conformity with other business users. Helps to gather system requirements from business users to create functional requirements documents, in addition to other required reporting. Consult with business and technical teams to define necessary requirements.Plans and conducts large and important projects, or more than one project through the entire lifecycle. Usually acts as a liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations.Participates in and contributes to all phases of system development, including requirements, design, development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance to achieve the successful development and implementation of the customers business need. Assists in problem analysis by preparing charts and diagrams and submitting recommendations for the solution, while ensuring conformity with other business areas.Performs other duties as describe
Job Requirements:Possesses functional knowledge as well as technical knowledge of Enterprise wide business systems with a demonstrated ability to work on a variety of projects with other business users.Demonstrated ability to perform implementation and integration projects within the business systems.Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
Additional Skills/Requirements:
The Oracle Projects Business Analyst will contribute and drive the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Ebusiness Application under minimal supervision. The position will also leverage a deep understanding of business and/or technology and work closely with other groups to assure that the total solution delivered to the customer meets/exceeds expectations. The Oracle Projects Business Analyst will drive the implementation of Oracle Projects in the organization and be considered the subject matter expert on Oracle Projects. This position will interface with Oracle Support and log Technical Assistance Requests with Oracle Support as well as work with this group to resolve questions, problems and enhancement requests. This position will also act as techno-functional analyst between business and technical team.University degree (equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree) in related discipline 7+ years of solid experience in implementing Oracle Ebusiness Applications Detailed functional knowledge / expertise and some technical knowledge of Oracle Projects Modules (Costing, Billing, Project Management, Resource Management) Good understanding of Oracle Financials modules (GL, FA, AR, AP, iExpenses, PO) and Order Management is also needed to integrate Oracle Projects with these modules Experience in working with business partners to define Oracle functional setups is a must Candidate must have worked as a Business Analyst or Application Expert on multiple implementations of Oracle 11i. Must have full knowledge and experience in creating and lead the review / business partner validation of analyst project deliverables for all project phases. Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL language is a plus Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills Preferably the candidate should have worked on Oracle 11.5.10. If not, then candidate should have at least worked on an Oracle 11i release. Project Management experience is a plus. Experience in working with external vendors in the development and/or procurement, testing and deployment of technology solutions is a plus. Experience with process mapping is a plus. Experience with Siebel CRM and Lotus Notes is a plus, though not required
