DESCRIPTION: Our support staff consists of motivated, team-oriented individuals looking to use their existing knowledge of Internet technologies, and learn new skills along the way. As a Technical/Customer support representative you'll gain additional experience in Web Hosting technologies, Web programming and troubleshooting. An excellent understanding of common Internet applications and familiarity with Windows Web Hosting and/or Windows System Administration is required for this position. This position consists of the following job duties: · Maintain shared hosting environment using knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server and Microsoft IIS5.0 & 6.0
· Network Monitoring, Windows System Administration, Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
· Pre-sales Phone and Email Support
· Technical Phone and Email Support
· New Customer Verification & Authorization
· New Domain Registration & Domain Transfer Tracking

The right candidate for this position will have experience with the following: · Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server, IIS5.0 & 6.0
· Advanced knowledge and experience with HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, POP, SMTP, FTP, and DNS
· Troubleshooting proficiency in all of the most common scripting languages HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, PERL
· Basic understanding of MS Access, MSSQL and MySQL database administration
· Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows NTFS and IIS permissions

Experience with the following is not required, but a definite plus: · Prior experience in a shared Web Hosting environment.
· Advanced, real world scripting of ASP, ASP.NET, and PHP web applications.
· Ability to work on weekends and additional hours when needed.

JOB LOCATION: 139 Fulton St Manhattan, NY (Financial District)
INTERVIEW LOCATION: Pearl River, NY (Rockland County) All interviews for this position will be held in our Pearl River, NY offices, located in Rockland county. Please do not submit a resume for consideration unless you can make it to an interview in Pearl River, NY.

TRAINING: Training will take place Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for approximately 6-8 weeks. New employees will immediately begin training with basic Technical/Customer support duties as well as administrative tasks such as managing account signups and domain name registrations/transfers. Over time, you will advance into higher level responsibilities such as Network/Web Server/Mail Server/DNS Server Administration.
