PL/SQL developer

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:-  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, comparable technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience required-  Minimum 5  years team-oriented development experience in a client server relational database environment required-  Proficiency in server-based SQL programming and batch development/support required-  Minimum 5 year programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL required-  Experience with HP-UNIX operating systems preferred-  Familiarity with Unix shell scripting preferred-  Familiarity with TOAD preferred-  Working knowledge or familiarity with MS SQL Server and T-SQL preferred-  Experience with structured Software Development Life Cycle methodology preferred-   Familiarity with ITIL framework preferred

 

MAJOR DUTIES:-  At a Senior Level, participate as a Project Team member in providing detailed design, coding and testing  for Oracle based applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in an HP-UNIX environment-  Provide Technical Architecture and high-level systems designs when needed-  Adhere to departmental Software Development Life Cycle methodology (design, code reviews, code, test, test plans, system and support documentation, etc.)
