Part-Time Enterprise Architecture Support Specialist

Enterprise Architecture Support Activity:
Process approved ARC artifacts which include principals, strategies, standards, and variances according to established procedures.
Manage the artifact review process.
Maintain review data base.
Ensure quarterly review notices are distributed and followed up.
Collect activity and compliance metrics and generate monthly reports.
Monitor Architectural Review Council (ARC) service level agreements (SLA) and keep the Chief Architect aware of actives approaching the end of its SLA.
Manage EA collaboration sites and ARC artifact repository.
Other tasks as required.

Research:
Provide a centralized research service for the technology division of Great American Insurance (IT Services utilizing the professional research vendors we contract with and additional research sources as needed and knowledge of the general technology requirements and major issues being addressed across IT Service. The deliverables for this service includes:
 Written research.
 Arraigning conference calls with research analysts.
 Providing research topic subscriptions and notification whenever relevent new information is available.
 Coordinating group webinars as required.
 Maintain research utilization statistics and providing monthly and annual reports by individuals showing research topics.
 Manage the utilization statics provided by the research vendors and providing monthly and annual reports.
 Keep the chief architect aware of the topic areas or research requests.

Communication:
Provide timely and effective enterprise communications on Enterprise architecture collaboration site locations and content.
Research services descriptions and benefits, engagement process and SLAs, and research site locations and content.
Develop and maintain EA process documents: artifact, templates, or instructions (i.e. templates for standard or variance requests, artifact annual review instructions, etc.
Develop & maintain clear and concise documentation of EA support processes (i.e. artifact processing, report generation, etc).
A site usage directions (DIM list use, EA Forum usage, etc).

Education: Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers, customers, and third party vendors.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to multitask.
Strong organization skills.
