PeopleSoft Developer

  Learning Care Group Inc., currently has an opening for a "PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst" at our corporate headquarters in Novi, MI. The PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst is responsible for the following duties:  q Develops and supports the organization’s PeopleSoft Finance, HR and Portal environments and applicationsq Provides full life cycle support for all PeopleSoft modules and servicesq Develops and supports customizations to PeopleSoftq Writes and modifies documentation for PeopleSoft customizations and fixesq Works with IT managers to identify and integrate PeopleSoft with other Enterprise Applicationsq Works with business owners to identify and develop appropriate PeopleSoft customizations and fixesq Analyzes the PeopleSoft environment and recommends proactive changes to meet emerging IT and business owner goalsq Uses and recommends PeopleSoft preferred reporting and development tools, and regularly briefs IT and business owners on application performanceq Ensures security of the Enterprise Architecture by developing and communicating security standards for all PeopleSoft applicationsq Assists the Director of Application Services by developing, communicating, and executing IT’s Mission, Vision, Strategy, and goals Qualifications Education:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience  Required Technical Skills:  PeopleTools 8.4x, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, nVision, Query, Crystal Reports, Change Assistant, Portal Development, SQL Server 2000 Additional Preferred Skills:  q Strong analytical and conceptual skillsq Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate mission, vision, and value themes to all levels of the organizationq Solid understanding of dependant web and database technologiesq Extended experience with one or more established application development methodologies  Experience Required:  q 1-2 years PeopleTools 8.4x experience (8.44, 8.45, or 8.46 preferred)o Must have excellent PeopleCode analysis and troubleshooting skillso Experience with Application Engineo Experience with SQRo Experience with Component Interfaceq 1-2 years PeopleSoft support, upgrade, or implementation experienceq 1 year experience with PeopleSoft Portal 8.8 or 8.9q 1 year experience with evaluating and troubleshooting fixes and maintenance packsq 1 year experience resolving issues through PeopleSoft Customer Connectionq 1 year experience utilizing Change Assistant to download and apply updates Preferred:q 2-3 years PeopleTools 8.4x experience (8.44, 8.45, or 8.46 preferred)o Must have excellent PeopleCode analysis and troubleshooting skillso Experience with Application Engineo Experience with SQRo Experience with Component Interfaceq 2-3 years PeopleSoft support, upgrade, or implementation experienceq 2-3 years experience with PeopleSoft Portal 8.8 or 8.9q 2-3 years experience with evaluating and troubleshooting fixes and maintenance packsq 2-3 years experience resolving issues through PeopleSoft Customer Connectionq 2-3 years experience utilizing Change Assistant to download and apply updates Interested candidates should reply with their resume and recent salary history / and or salary requirements.
