PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS Developer

NEAR MOUNTAINS     WORK/LIFE BALANCE    NO TRAVELResponsible for development and technical production support of PeopleSoft 8.9 Human Capital Management applications, the position will provide enterprise wide PeopleSoft technical support and consultation.  This position will focus on the technical view of the production system with emphasis on the impact, implications, and the technical benefit of system enhancement as well as the implementation of customizations, payroll updates and fixes to the production system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide technical expertise for PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Modules as appropriate for development and application support.  Modules include North American Payroll, Human Resources, and Benefits.

 

Produce detailed technical designs to meet user requirements and I.T. development standards.

 

Manage migration and integration of code development.

 

Work closely with the functional staff to determine the appropriate technical solution to client requests for change.

 

Maintain existing, develop new or modify PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Application menus, panels, panel groups, records and tables.

 

Assist or lead in analyzing new releases of PeopleSoft Applications or PeopleTools and evaluating the impact of custom modifications and/or new system functionality.

 

Develop technical design specifications with local and hosted resources.

 

Work with other Information Technology team members to coordinate and facilitate the successful implementation of all custom modifications and new releases of PeopleSoft.

 

Ensure development meets business requirements as appropriate.

 

Maintain technical documentation and proper change control procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum five years of PeopleSoft technical experience; including hands-on experience implementing/developing/ supporting/troubleshooting the Human Capital Applications.

 

Demonstrated technical knowledge of PeopleSoft, including proficiency developing with PeopleTools 8.x.

 

Ability to triage issues as they arise, review trace logs, understand SQL Server database SQL.

 

Knowledge of PeopleSoft data model, PeopleTools Metadata structures and the interface to PeopleSoft application structure (tables related to each module).

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

Individual must have technical knowledge in PeopleSoft Human Capital Management in order to interpret issues.

 

Ability to work well as a team.
