Peoplesoft Senior Manager

• The Project Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of multiple, cross-functional projects in support of the ITS Enterprise Application Development organization. • This position will also be responsible for directly managing projects within the team environment. • This position is most typically found in large organizations where a large number of projects need to be managed. • Responsible for managing all aspects of the project assigned to Enterprise Application Development projects • Organizes/manages work teams, drives consensus and ensures end to end policy/process integrity to accomplish project work: including identification and confirmation of participants, establishment of a project plan and execution, consistent work team engagement and productivity, meeting facilitation, consensus building and implementation oversight • Provides procedural, strategic and policy guidance on assigned initiatives so that all processes are considered for maximizing effective implementation and results • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports and ensures consistent adherence to the Project Management process for all direct and indirect staff • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project management deliverables • Provides coaching and guidance to staff in a consistent and constructive manner • Builds strong customer relationships and has a customer-oriented approach • Provides accurate and complete reporting at the portfolio level • Resolves conflicts and raises issues appropriately through the organization • Develops, manages and monitors risk management and mitigation plans    Skills Required: â€¢ Minimum seven years project management experience; experience working under a PMO organization a must • Experience managing large, cross-functional projects; experience managing initiatives with an off-shoring component a plus • Experience managing Finance (GL, Billing/AP/AR, etc) or HR initiatives a plus • Experience representing the project team to C Level Executives • Highly organized and able to handle multiple initiatives and priorities• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to present to large audiences required• Must be detail-oriented• Ability to work in a team environment• Leadership, facilitation, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills required• Broad knowledge of business functions• Ability to influence, motivate, and lead stake holders from various business units to meet agreement• Advanced technology skills and IT knowledge (IT and Project Governance).
