Performance Test Engineer

Description:

The successful candidate will participate in a team responsible for the identification, development, scripting, and execution of performance tests to validate, in a non-production environment, the operational readiness of customer developed applications and system tuning initiatives.  Post execution analysis of test results will include report development and delivery. 

 

The successful candidate will works closely with both the system management and software development teams to identify root causes of issues and performance improvements.

 

Qualifications:The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be a self-starter and self motivated. Ability to communicate effectively to technical as well as management personnel. The candidate must possess the ability to work effectively within a close team. The candidate must have strong customer service skills



Required experience:3+ years of experience of performance and stress testing HP Load Runner Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio) Intermediate Level experience MS-Office 2003 J2EE Technologies (WebSphere preferred)



Desired Experience:Network Connectivity and troubleshooting Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Server/Workstation Sun Solaris (8 and 10)



Education:An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in a related field or equivalent experience
