This individual will serve as a technical resource in the Security and Identity Management Solution Group for engagements having physical security components. Key responsibilities include: performing risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, site surveys and gap analyses; developing implementation and design plans to install or upgrade large scale integrated electronic security systems including smart-card enabled access control, intrusion detection and surveillance; developing cost estimates and supporting program/project quality assurance efforts.Position-specific Requirements: 3-5+ years working technical knowledge of U.S. Government smart card credential programs including PIV, TWIC and CAC. 3-5+ years of progressive experience in the design of large scale integrated electronic security systems.2-3+ years of experience conducting security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, site surveys and gap analyses.Minimum of 1+ year experience overseeing implementation of large scale integrated electronic security systems.2+ years working knowledge of life safety principals and practices as they pertain to electronic security systems.2+ years working knowledge of ADA and Section 508 requirements as they pertain to electronic security systems.2+ years knowledge of major electronic security systems such as AMAG, GE, Hirsch, Honeywell, Lenel, and Software House.Position-specific Desired Skills:Previous experience with biometrics and smart cards are highly desirable. Memberships in industry associations such as ASIS International are preferred. Experience either working for, or consulting to, state & local, DoD, and/or Federal government agencies is highly desired.
