Design, develop, conduct, and evaluate COOP exercises. Support client engagements involving risk management, operations, and emergency management within the homeland security community. Apply knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to analyze and suggest improvements to Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).Required Skills-8+ Years of Experience -Experience with DoD or DHS organizations-Experience with developing COOP, BCP, or DRP continuity plans-Experience with writing, preparing, and briefing presentations to clients -Experience with developing policy documents, analytic studies, and concept of operations documents required-Knowledge of Microsoft Office-Current CBP BI clearance a plus-Ability to obtain a security clearance required-Must be a US citizen-BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications:-Ability to comprehend, apply, and integrate knowledge of operational and programmatic issues surrounding emergency planning, homeland security, and all-hazard threats -Experience with providing direct support to senior managers-Ability to develop executive-level briefings-Experience with government operations centers a plus-Knowledge of the National Response Plan, Federal Preparedness Circular 65, the National Incident Management System, and emergency management preferred-Experience with the Department of Homeland Security, civil agencies, or the military-Possession of excellent analytical skills -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -BS or BA degree in Government, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus-CBCP or ABCP Certification a plus
