3H Technology has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Content Manager. In this position, you will participate in the Content Management, Customization and Knowledge Management activities for a large Enterprise Portal.

Position is located in Reston, VA .

JOB DESCRIPTION: Oracle Portal Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment and support of Portal-based solutions. Responsibilities will include providing technical leadership and hands-on capabilities in Oracle Portal technology. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently or with a team and have a track record of successful application deployment.

The ideal individual will have 2 years of web based J2EE application development experience

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Must have 3+ years of portal experience preferable Oracle PortalMust have Content Management (any tool): Portlet development skills (java or PLSQL), PL/SQL, WebDAV; LDAP or OID or Active Directory;Must be able to define and develop enterprise content based taxonomiesKnowledge of administering collaborative solutions software such as Oracle Collaboration suite or Lotus quickplaceJava/JSP and HTML development experienceSQL, PL/SQL a strong plusExperience with other middleware technology, experience, including: Web Services, Service Oriented ArchitectureKnowledge of working with Business Intelligence software including: report development, dashboard creation/executive dashboardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate end user requirements into reports. Demonstrated experience writing detailed Technical Specs from Business Requirements documents.Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with Developers, Business Analysts and Business Units while leading portal development projects.Other needed skills include: experience conducting design meetings, code reviews and mentoring developers.Must have excellent organizational and project management skills and be flexible to changing priorities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Ideal candidate will have an outgoing, consultative personality and be able to interface at all levels of the organization.Prefer an Oracle development background with Oracle database development (PL/SQL), Oracle Forms/Reports. Basic UNIX skills a plus but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oracle Portal Technical DeveloperResource will be working on the technical development for applications built to Oracle frameworkIntegrate applications built to Oracle framework into Oracle appsProvide integration documentation support to facilitate cross training within the team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor level degree in a CS discipline or 3+ years of relevant experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with Oracle PortalBreadth of experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Applications systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Oracle CertificationMasters level degree
