Presort Mail Data Technician - Computer Prepress Technician

Dear Prospective Employee -Finishing & Mailing Center provides mailing address list processing and laser printing services to customers running direct mail campaigns. Our department's goal is to process these lists as efficiently utilizing postal sort software and various printing/graphic programs. We also provide computer pre-press graphic services for our Heidelberg sheetfed pinting presses using Screen's computer-to-plate technology. We will train a candidate with experience in either of the above categories to perform the function of the 2nd discipline.We are looking for candidates who have knowledge in the following areas: *Knowledge of Word, Excel and specifically BCC Mail Presort Software *PDF work flow *Basic RIP Software/Imagesetter experience *Mac and PC experience *Experience with digital black and white and color copiers *Laser Letter/Mail Merge with black & white, color & digital output *Variable dataWe are a full-service printing and mailing company that has been in operation for over 20 years. Our clientele consists mainly of commercial businesses and our own sister company's direct mail clients.(This position does not include any web design.) As we are a fast-paced company, the candidate should be able to work quickly under tight deadlines, have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and can work well with customers and staff. The willingness to learn and the desire to share with us what you know is important to us. This is a full time position with benefits. Relocation is not offered and high preference will be given to local candidates.
