Apptis is looking for a Test Engineer to join our team Rosslyn, Virginia!

This is a challenging opportunity for a Test Engineer on a major, large scale system development contract.

The individual will support the end to end testing, including design, implementation, and execution of testing to verify system and business requirements; prepare detailed, comprehensive test procedures and perform testing of these procedures in a controlled environment.

Additionally, the individual will review and validate test data and test execution results to verify system level requirements and identify anomalies in software procedures or other program artifacts and documents findings.

This person will work closely with other personnel such as Test Engineers, Software Developers, and System Test Leads.

Experience with testing Biometrics applications is highly desirable.

Required:BS/BA in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience8 years of relevant technical experience, and 10+ years of software testing experience to include test script writing and test execution experience. Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work in a cross functional, matrix team environment. Ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations. Must have full lifecycle experience supporting software development projects and experience with automated test tools such as Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, and Test Director. Experience with application, integration, and backend testing.

Position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance.

Desired: Knowledge of automated test tools and testing Biometrics applications.Experience with usability and Section 508 compliance testing of client server and web-based applications including experience with JAWS and AccRepair.
