This individual is responsible for teaming with Category Leads within the Sourcing and Category Management (S&CM) organization to engage functional area customers to deliver procurement opportunities.  This includes all facets of stakeholder management.  Examples include (1) helping develop and maintain the stakeholder relationship, (2) identifying and validating sourcing opportunities, (3) streamlining the procurement process or policy, and (4) overall stakeholder communication:  This position understands the sourcing process and the services the PSG organization provides and is able to articulate the value S&CM brings to the organization. Within the group, within the spend category, this position engages appropriate S&CM resources including the Category Lead to ensure that customer needs are met. The role performs formal and informal customer satisfaction “surveys” and works with team members to identify customer performance expectations. This position interacts with all levels of the organization and must be able to communicate effectively at each of those levels. The role will implement communications across respective stakeholders using a variety of tools (e.g. trainings, individual discussions, email) to Client business groups. The role ensures optimum business awareness and compliance with procurement policies, processes and systems through highly-interactive business user engagement and change management. The SAM supports the monitoring of compliance to the Procurement processes and systems across Client businesses and consults with Client businesses on process and improvements. Utilization of financial reporting tools to analyze and provide discussion points with Client business groups. One of the main objectives of the role is to drive adoption of the deployed Procurement solution by existing and new users within the Client business lines with a related objective of increasing spend “in scope”. Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  Minimum 5 years experience in a sourcing and procurement related role   Functional Skills  Experience in the retail industry strongly preferred Proven ability to communicate with a broad mix of audiences. High level of understanding of the most appropriate communication channels and messages for selected audiences. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues Strong advocate of tools and technology to improve process efficiency Innovative thinking to measure and promote user compliance Solid understanding of procurement analytics and reporting Technical Skills  Well-versed in Procurement processes and technology Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and presentation skills  Work Requirements  Role will require flexible hours.
