Product Account Manager

Position Purpose:
As part of the Multinational Customer Group you will be working with a team dedicated to growing our business with multi-national and strategically important travel agencies and corporate accounts.  The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial account manager and have responsibility for one or more of our key multinational accounts with particular emphasis on product and project related issues.
Responsibilities:
The retention of all existing GDS (bookings) and IT (products and services) business.
Growth of GDS business and IT revenue in line with defined sales targets.
Monitoring satisfaction, identifying new opportunities and proposing solutions to improve customer profitability and efficiency.
Development of product strategies to meet the specific needs of multinational travel management companies.
In cooperation with the commercial account managers, creation and implementation of an account development plan.
In conjunction with Product Managers, ensure that products planned or under development meet the needs of MCG Accounts.  Ensure that products for these accounts are successfully introduced to the customers in a timely fashion.
In cooperation with the TMC marketing group, develop programs and marketing communication specifically targeted to MCG customers to further deepen the Amadeus identity and brands within these accounts.
In cooperation with the commercial account managers and the ACO�s (when required), coordinate and complete RFP’s for Travel Agents and corporations for your assigned account(s).
The management and delivery of specified projects on behalf of your assigned account(s).
The handling and resolution of problems identified by customers within your portfolio of accounts
Building good business relationships with identified product / IT orientated customers within your portfolio of accounts.
Work closely with and support, when necessary, the other members of the Multinational Customer Group team in all locations.  Foster good business working relationships with ACO’s and Amadeus Marketing, Development and Operations companies.

Good knowledge of Amadeus, the Amadeus portfolio of products & services and/or competitive systems plus other travel related products and tools appreciated.

Education:
University Degree (5 years) or equivalent qualification, preferably Business Administration and/or Marketing.
Proficiency in English essential (additional language skills are a plus)
Other Considerations:
Significant experience of work with Travel Agencies and / or travel service industry an asset.
Previous significant experience managing accounts or products is required.
