Product Analyst

Product Analyst - 

A local Tucson company is seeking a Product Analyst to join their team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for using technical and domain expertise in the creation of detailed software specification documents that meet defined Business Requirements. The candidate will utilize understanding of software development and standard software specification practices to create well-defined, detailed software specifications that are cost effective and are to be used by engineering development department and project stakeholders.  The candidate will also be responsible for participating in creative design meetings to write specifications for software development. 

 

Other Responsibilities include:

 Creating and updating specifications detailing functions, features, process models, data flow diagrams and use cases to meet business requirements.Working with product management & engineering teams to sustain a functioning specification methodology Serving as a knowledge resource for QA, Product Management, and Engineering departments.Working independently and as a team member or team leader.  May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issuesParticipating in and supports process improvement activities within the department and company-wide.Coordinating detail specifications with clients in collaboration with Product Management and Customer CareResponsible for the accuracy and completeness of test plans created and used by the Quality Control Analysts.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 Preferred 4-6 years of operational experience in Managed Care; including but not limited to experience with HIPAA; Capitation, Premium Billing, Contracting and Claims.Bachelor Degree or equivalent job related work experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Products. May be required to learn SQLExperience working on problems of diverse scope (where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors).  Understanding of the software development cycle, design processes and standard specification practices.Proficiency writing detailed software specifications documentsEffective in communicating technical concepts and processes in non-technical languageAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects
