They manage the overall software product development lifecycle by rolling out all products from inception to launch.  They are responsible for the technical product management of new and ongoing projects; coordination of development, QA and UAT; implementation of systems, processes, and/or policies; and they lead, influence, and direct the work of many other groups not directly reporting to them. Job Duties: Responsible for all project planning and communication Coordinates with to determine product features / enhancements and identifies the impacts of these features / enhancements on other teams Directs product development processes (either internal or outsourced development) Gathers and writes all product requirements and identifies applicable resources (both financial and people), to include product purchase and fulfillment processes; reporting requirements; product escalation processes; product implementation processes; and more Works closely with software engineers to optimize plans for maximum impact, and reviews software design documents Reviews QA test cases and provides subject matter expertise support to QA Manages User Acceptance Testing Creates the visibility necessary to carry a product through launch by ensuring it is thoroughly vetted and acceptable to all impacted teams at each phase of the software product development lifecycle. Comes up to speed quickly on new programs and has the ability to perform thorough due-diligence in the financial, technical, and management arenas Influences technical directions, strategies, and resource allocations across multiple programs Coordinates cross-functional and geographical-dispersed teams such as software engineering, customer experience, testing teams, operations, customer service, and finance Contributes to the overall strategic direction of products, projects and the development of business strategies Manages all product engineering requests, issues lists, and bug fixes, and provides ongoing operational support, as necessaryJob Experience2+ years experience in technical product or project management with 2+ years Internet experience is desired.
