Product Manager II
Product Manager will be an individual contributor responsible for overall implementation of the product management process with the primary focus of launching products for rapid revenue generation. The successful candidate will have strong experience (7+ years of professional experience) in product management within the payments industry and have a complete command of the concepts of product management, and will have day-to-day responsibility for New Products and Product Enhancements.
• New Products: The PM will take new product opportunities, conceived within Business Development and validated through an initial sales process, and coordinate the development and launch in cooperation with all appropriate functional organizations.
• Product Enhancements: The PM will validate and prioritize product enhancements via input from Customers, Sales, CTO & Support.
• Develop, document and maintain product requirements (Feature Sheets) for new products and all products enhancements.
• Manage and maintain the Product Priority List
• Prepare all documentation in preparation for Product Council meetings (outline revenue projects with reference to CCRs).
• Implement and coordinate all elements of the UML process
• Manage & oversee the launch of new major features/enhancements with all functional organizations
• Maintain competitive analysis information and report on key competitive trends and changes.
• Pricing – conduct pricing analysis that lead to the formation of approved prices. Analyze multiple pricing methods (license fees, user fees, transaction fees, others)
• Help with the evaluation of new product opportunities through market sizing analyses.
• Develop, manage and maintain key programs to the support the direct sales field organization providing Competitive Analysis, Demos, Product expertise, developing Proposals, and participating in Customer visits. Travel will probably be at the 15%-30% level.• Manage and coordinate with 3rd party partners for product integration and product interface alliances – as appropriate.

• Firm knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other presentation tools
• Product Management experience within the financial services and or payments industry is a MUST
• Ability to execute – take action and bring projects to a timely closure
• Positive attitude
• Excellent work ethic
• Highly professional, specifically in his/her relationships with all key stakeholders
• Ability to demonstrate “clarity of thought” at all times and within all types of communications
• Ability to forge a strong & credible working relationship with Business Development, CTO, Software Engineering, Development and Implementation organizations
• Have strong technical skills – as they relate to customer needs and applications
• Have a demonstrated track record within product management and a career track of having been promoted through the product management ranks
