Product Segment Marketing Manager

LogMeIn is seeking an experienced Product Segment Marketing Manager with strong drive and energy to lead our worldwide marketing of LogMeIn’s remote access and remote support products and services. The product segment marketing manager will be responsible for creating segment marketing content and messages, as well as the outbound delivery of product, solutions and partner marketing materials. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
· Create product segment specific messaging and marketing content, including segment and sub-segment categories, buyer profiling, needs analysis, and distinct buying criteria
· Conduct market and segment research, competitive analysis and customer focus groups to determine segment trends, product marketing opportunities and customer requirements
· Work with marketing communications to deliver compelling segment marketing programs and campaigns, define segment performance metrics, and establish criteria and metrics for evaluating ongoing segment performance
· Provide ongoing market feedback and segment requirements to product management about new products and product features to drive further market penetration and achieve revenue objectives
· Evaluate existing and identify new potential distribution routes to various market segments and recommend successful strategies for maximizing revenues across the product portfolio
· Be the market segment expert available to LogMeIn’s sales force and channel partners to evangelize our products and services to customers and the market
· Coordinate segment marketing execution across other functional marketing areas including product management, public relations, marketing communications and online marketing
Job Experience and Qualifications:
This is a hands-on position that requires taking marketing projects from strategy through to implementation. Candidates should possess a strong product and segment marketing background with a proven track record in generating quantifiable business successes, as well as the following qualifications:
· 3-6 years of related industry experience in a product marketing role within high tech or technology driven company
· Previous experience with marketing to IT professionals, marketing software as a service (SaaS) offerings or marketing to small and medium size businesses is important.
· Demonstrated ability for market segmentation analysis and market trends analysis, strong business/strategic thinking, and success with creating product positioning and delivering compelling marketing content and collateral
· Passion for gaining customer insights and translating into effective product positioning, marketing content, programs and collateral
· Excellent communications and writing skills and the ability to leverage both internal and external resources to build marketing content and marketing activities worldwide.
· Strong, relentless attention and focus to details with exceptional problem solving, and analytical skills
· Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at one-time with very little direction, and work collaboratively across and intra-departmentally
· High enthusiasm and interest in building world-class businesses and products within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
