Production Control Associate

The Production Control Associate is accurately and timely dissemination of information pertinent to our enterprise level computer systems. Researches and resolves technical problems as well as tracks and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution. Monitors the system and system alerts, issues operating system console commands as required, provides assistance with executing diagnostic procedures, and executes system startup and shutdown. The position reports to Manager of Process Control.   · Executes and run task as listed in production schedule. · Monitors system and alerts, as well as host components of the network to ensure all are fully functioning as expected. · Initiates corrective action or carries out instructions to resolve system problems. · Responds appropriately to system alerts or highlighted console messages. · Identifies and escalates problems involving job streams, resource contention, system abends and other components of production processing. · Assists in resolving technical computer operations and production processing related issues · Ensures timely and effective resolution of all production processing related issues providing technical and procedural support. · Ensures accurate follow-up and tracking of issues on Track-It software. · Coordinates issue resolution with other support areas, such as Production Support and Development. · Provides necessary support to other IT teams to meet overall objectives as needed. · Performs other duties as assigned. Experience & Education · 1 -3 years hands on computer experience  · Must be familiar with UNIX and Windows · Familiar with basic networking concepts · Possess good judgment and sound decision · Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instruction   Competencies & Skills ·  Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware and the following systems and applications: all Microsoft Office applications, TCP/IP Protocol, POS, Windows, and WAN. ·  Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly. ·  Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator. ·  Upholds and furthers HOTT’s culture and values. Inquisitiveness and open mind regarding teen music and fashion trends. ·  Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure. ·  Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.   Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation) ·  Ability to work various shifts and days including weekends to meet the work demand, as needed.
