Professional Services Engagement Manager
nuBridges Professional Services team is committed to guiding our customers to success through implementing nuBridges solutions. We are offering an opportunity for an Engagement Manager in our ProServ group within our high growth company. The Engagement Manager is a key member of our professional services team and responsible for revenue generation through selling and delivering solutions. This position is responsible for working with Sales teams to qualify and gain closure on business opportunities by leveraging consulting, industry and technology skills and services. The Engagement Manager is also responsible for managing the customer relationship by serving as the senior project lead for all the projects within a customer. Using our line of secure connectivity and data security products, our ProServ group engages with our customers to deliver high-end innovative solutions. Each customer engagement has technical consultants that work closely with the engagement manager to ensure technical success of the project. Delivery involves product configuration, customization or custom builds.
Responsibility and Accountability:
The key accountability of the Engagement Manager as a part of the professional services group includes:
In a sales support role:Working with sales teams closing sales and delivering services projects.Overseeing all engagement interactions, including contractual, fiscal, and scheduling.Understand customer need in detail and define a solution using nuBridges products.Helping to write proposals, statements of works and presentations.Ensure technical and strategic feasibility on customer engagements.Demonstrate credibility and knowledge in the competitive eBusiness Security landscape
In a delivery role:Delivering solutions, by successfully managing the top talent that implements the solutions Using keen business sense to identify trends, needed skills, and business demands in order to predict and fulfill customer needs Demonstrating leadership to the team in their ability to lead by example Responding to the needs of the teamsDriving customer satisfaction across all facets of engagements
In a project management role:Manage customer’s expectations with respect to customer implementation projectsUndertaking project management tasks through project plan development, project plan execution and integrated change controlManaging project risks, scope, time, cost, quality, communications and procurementContributing to nuBridges’ profitability by delivering on time, budget and to the customer’s satisfaction
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum requirements and qualifying criteria:Prior consulting experience in a professional services organization.Experience as a Project Manager on at least five F500 customer projects from inception to completion.An advanced degree (MBA/MS) or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 8 years working experience in consulting, and/or support of software-related products or services.Demonstrated record of effectiveness combining relevant work in technology leadership & strategic planning for professional services, and consulting.Demonstrated experience in working in a pre-sales role understanding customer needs, defining customer solutions, setting customer expectations and closing proposals in conjunction with sales.A deep understanding of markets, customers and related technology in any one of the following:Data/Application/Encryption SoftwareKnowledge of Security Technology and Best PracticesB2B Technology around Secure Connectivity and Managed File transfer solutionsFunctional expertise in Compliance laws and regulatory requirementsExperience in managing a full software development lifecycle including Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing.Experience working with distributed virtual teams is a plus.Excellent cognitive, verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel up to approximately 40%, on an inconsistent schedule, if needed.PMP or CISSP Certification a plus.
