(www.glenmontgroup.com) My client is a top NYC law firm, who is looking to bring a Programmer into their thriving technology group.Major responsibilities include:-Develops application code for new systems or converted systems on an as needed basis, consistent with coding standards.-Supports existing application systems on an as needed basis, consistent with change management procedures and coding standards.-Provides specialist support of applications systems. Performs troubleshooting and problem resolution for the applications systems as necessary. -Works closely with rest of the development in implementation of new application systems.-May be asked to participate in any or all phases of the application life cycle, including user requirements and specifications, modeling, prototyping, database design, application programming, testing, deployment, documentation.Relevant experience necessary:-Degree in Computer Science or related course of study.-Filemaker 5.5-8.5 including client/server Filemaker.-2+ years of development with the .NET Framework (1.1 or 2.0)- especially with ASP.NET, C#-3+ years of development using object-oriented programming and design -Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (SQL 2005 is a plus)-Documentation and procedures writing-1+ years of development using BizTalk as a development platform is a plus.-Experience with UML or formal architecture work is a plus.
