Project Director The Physician Services Division (PSD) is seeking full-time Project Director for the TeleHealth Initiative for the Information Technology (IT) Department located in Oakland and South Side.  The incumbent is responsible for all the aspects of the selection, acquisition, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the systems that support the deployment of the PSD TeleHealth Initiative as a part of the overall UPMC TeleHealth Program.  The management of the PSD TeleHealth staff, it finances, and all associated duties are including in the function of this position.  This individual is responsible for vendor contract administration and execution.  In addition, this role will provide assistance to and participates in planning efforts as required by the executive management of the UPMC for the overall TeleHealth Program. A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, health administration or its equivalent and 10 years of successive experience in the information technology (IT) field in a large multifaceted user environment with 5 years of experience directly managing personnel support or implementing computerized system. Remaining experience must be a mixture of technical and operational experience in health care systems or IT organizations. Expertise and/or experience in any of the following will considered desirable: Videoteleconferencing or distance learning Clinical operations, Program and project management with emphasis on clinical information systems Clinical systems implementations, hospital system operations, system to system interfaces.
