Project Manager

  Position Summary:  Would you like to work for an exciting company that helps people enjoy life?  Our client is located in Seattle and looking for a Project Manager who’s passionate about their job to join their team. The Project Manager is responsible for project management as it involves developing project plans and reporting project time lines to the Technology Leadership group, and working with the business analysts and technical group as related to projects assigned to the Technology Operations team. Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  · Lead projects by managing timelines and other project deliverables.· Work with Systems Engineers, System Integration Engineer and implementation teams to deliver projects on time within budget.· Develop timelines and accountability to project deliverables.· Work with technical leads to provide timelines for multiple projects.· Work with business analyst team to ensure program specifications for new and existing projects are feasible and aligned with Virtuoso’s technical vision.· Conceives, creates, develops establishes and publishes new program management techniques, methods, procedures, approaches and standards that facilitate efficient operational delivery.· Perform at or above the enterprise’s Information Technology evaluation standards.· Develop/Implement/Maintain standards and policies in the IT environment.· Possible travel required – both domestic and international. Educational and Skills Requirements:· Bachelors Degree in computer science or business preferred· 5+ years technical project management with some program management· 1+ years programming experience· Must work well with minimal to no supervision· Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery knowledge a plus· Telephony Experience a plus.· Ability to effectively work and communicate with end users and business owners in a fast-paced business environment.· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a deadline driven environment. You can contact Quin at 206-652-1511 OR via email: qtran@parkerservices.com Location:   Seattle, WA 98104 Status:   Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Job Category:   IT/Software Development Experience:   5+ to 7 Years Career Level:   Experienced (Non-Manager) Education:   Professional Company:   Parker Staffing Services
