PROJECT MANAGER - CUSTOM APPLICATIONS

Job Description

·The candidate should have 2 to 3 years experience exclusively in areas like project management or account management or program management activities.
·The candidate should be well aware of SDLC and independently handled projects in the last 2 to 3 years. Should have strong process orientation and expertise in quality systems and standards such as ISO, SEI-CMMI, Six Sigma etc.
·Should have the passion for technology and exposure to .NET, Java and other relevant technologies
·Should have experience in requirement analysis and strong UML experience and database design skills. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills, creativity and innovation, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·BE/BTECH/MCA/MS IT BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or Business Management.
·5+ years IT experience with min 2 yrs of Designing and Architecting experience.
·Demonstrated success in deploying new technologies.
·Demonstrated experience in developing software using structured software design techniques
·Demonstrated experience with J2EE applications & Oracle DB
·Experience working with customers across organizational and functional areas
·Advanced leadership, project management, and prioritization skills, including ability to identify and assess risk to determine action.
·Experience leading and executing through virtual teams including off-shore resources
·Ability to see the big picture and drive the strategy to execution.
·Proven vendor management skills
·Integrates effectively with cross functional business teams.
·Proven ability to execute in a highly matrixed organization.
·Internal/external customer passion.
·Experience in driving the Quality process and using Mercury tools.
·Exceptional communication and multi-tasking talents
·Self-directed and motivated with an confiden
**Project managment experience of custom applications at Big 4 Consulting, INFOSYS, TATA, WIPRO, SATYAM, HCL, OR COGNIZANT is strongly preferred**
