 Project Manager - Revenue CycleYonkers, NY

 

 

Position involves management of systems and teams providing Revenue Cycle enhancement services for Montefiore Medical Center, and other Emerging Health Clients, with emphasis on HIPAA transactions and Revenue enhancement opportunities.

 Provide leadership for TREKS team initiatives and customer supportSupply solutions that meet client objectives as they relate TREKS product. These objectives will streamline operations, improve accuracy, increase revenue, increase savings and ultimately improve patient careEnsure projects are designed, documented and staffed in order to achieve success and timely implementations, Evaluate requests for new systems, enhancements or other opportunities, proposing alternatives to client management, and implementing the approved approachManage staff and enforce developed processes and policies for the group/organizationProvide technical expertise on HIPAA transactions and Billing System objectives for all TREKS clients

Technical Skills Required: BS degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plusA minimum of 5 years of experience required in the Healthcare and IT industries, specializing in billing and financial systems. Significant HIPAA security and transaction experience is essentialUnderstanding of Hospital Billing regulations (New York State Preferred) for Hospital Technical and Professional billing, plus experience in Hospital Billing systemsMust have strong knowledge of healthcare systems and products and implementation processesExpertise in writing scope and specification documents, as well as understanding client requirementsSignificant knowledge and experience in databases, data transformation processes, reporting enginesDetailed knowledge and prior experience with Web Interfaces and secure connectivityStrong Understanding of HL/7 interfaces, Ancillary charge interfaces, mainframe and Server-based platforms as well as interoperability with EDI and Real-time transactions

Other Qualifications:Proven experience as project & personnel management in healthcare/IT environment required Excellent Customer Service, Verbal & Written Communication, and Organizational Skills required Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and with the client base Must be able to enforce deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Demonstrated ability to analyze and trouble-shoot system and customer issues
