Apptis is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Clarksburg, West Virginia!
Project Description:
Provide support services to the CJIS Operations Management Unit supporting coordination with support project teams on development of a data center realignmnet plan. Provide program management services to include project assessments, consulting services, document preparation, project control tracking, and assistance in contractor oversight.
The Project Manager will:Provide program management services to include project assessments, consulting services, document preparation, project control tracking, and assistance in development contractor oversight. Provide project management support by program planning and control, supplier control, configuration control, financial management control, risk management, schedule oversight, metrics reporting, and managing scheduled meetings. Conduct and document technical risk evaluations consistent with FBI risk management policies. Coordinate efforts with FBI personnel, FBI vendors, and maintenance and support contract vendors. Maintain a record of project progress by maintaining detailed schedules, data center floor plan drawings, technical documetation and policy, standard operating procedure documetation, regularly scheduled reports, and preparing and providing presentations.
Provide program/project management services and consulting in the following disciplines: Management Controls and Sustainment o Configuration Management o Transitional Management o Integrated Communications o IPT Facilitation and Participation o Program Planning & Control o Critical Path Analyses o Contingency Planning o Program Review, Oversight and Reporting o Analyses and Briefings o Workflow Management o Resolution of Program Issues o Program Administration o Earned Value Management o Quality Assurance o Data Management o Resource Requirements o Collaboration/Coordination o Risk Management o Program Assessments o Task/Milestone Progress o Process Improvement o Requirements Management
Conduct independent assessments of and provide guidance on projects. The types of assessment activities shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Applicability/impact of laws, regulations and policies. Preparing position papers, studies, and reports. Develop, implement, and maintain program documents, plans, and performance measures. Support internal and external reporting and program oversight requirements. Review inquiries, provide input, and prepare responses as requested to support FBI, CJIS, OMU, and other outside organization reporting requirements and inquiries. This task includes preparing presentations, briefings, point papers, alternative recommendations, and spreadsheet analysis of financial data for briefings to client management and outside organizations.
Provide program monitoring and control for the Program. Perform or assist in performing program tracking. Activities shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Developing and tracking program metrics. Tracking timeline and milestone accomplishment. Action item indexing and tracking. Assessing program status. Tracking risk management status and mitigation activities.
Analyze performance and other programmatic information and prepare Project Assessment Reports, Vendor/Contractor Performance Reports, Financial Tracking Reports, Program Management Plan(s), Risk Management Plan(s) and reports, Policy and Procedure Papers, White Papers, Meeting Agenda and Minutes, Notes with recommended actions, Briefings, Technology Deployment Plan(s), and Communications Plan(s).
