Job Description / Required skills: This individual selected for this position will support projects and/or components and will have the following responsibilities:Project Planning Responsibilities Must have project scheduling and coordinatoring experience and MS Project experinece.Willing to train individuals on Primavera if needed.Planners assigned to projects collaborate with the Project Manager, the project team, and other participants to develop project plans and schedule and determine the project's critical path; develop and maintain project management documentation; facilitate meetings to execute the project's facilitation processes; coordinate the collection, input and monitoring of project status;   Advocates, advise, and/or educate project teams on the Project Management Processes (planning, controlling, executing and closing. This includes the processes: organizes and co-facilitates sessions dealing with Project Management disciplines, such as: develops a project schedule, using Project Office standards, which can be effectively used for management of the project. Focusing on the area of: Supports delivering the project on-time and within budget while meeting the goals by: Attends project meetings, leading portions dealing with the schedule, metrics and resources Serves as a Risk, Issue and/or Change Control Coordinator by: Analyzes the impacts that change requests may have on the schedule and resource assignments Component Planning Responsibilities Component-based Planners work with the Component Manager/Steward, team members and others to develop the component's current state, future state, goals, and milestones, as well as the Component's Work Schedule. Advocates, advises and/or educates Component Managers/Stewards and teams on the component planning process. This includes the process's: Organizes and co-facilitates sessions dealing with component management such as: Develops a component schedule, using Component Work Categories (i.e., Production Work, Problem Resolution, Skill Development, Component Management, and Development Work), which can be effectively used for management of the component. Focusing on the areas of: Supports the component in meeting their goals by: Attends Component Meetings, leading portions dealing with the schedule, metrics, and resources. CIBER, Inc.
