Public Sector Solutions Consultant, Microsoft Dynamics GP

With our success to date and commitment to Public Sector (state and local governments) we are expanding our Dynamics consulting practice team which provides implementation and integration services with Microsoft Dynamics solutions. We are looking for a Solutions Consultant who will focus on assisting the business development team in architecting solutions with Microsoft Dynamics GP and CRM as the core enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for state and local governments nationally. This position will also assist in preparing and presenting the solution to existing clients and new prospective customers. The Solutions Consultant will assist marketing in preparing and presenting at government seminars, conferences and proposal response meetings. This position will be located in the greater Philadelphia area with national focus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Lead Public Sector solution strategy with Dynamics GP and appropriate IVS’s
•Liaison to Microsoft Dynamics Public Sector product manager’s
•Assist the BDM team in qualifying, developing and managing Dynamics-related sales opportunities (ERP and CRM)
•Prepare a variety of industry, proposal, and activity documents
•Install, configure, and test Microsoft Dynamics modules and supporting components for demonstration purposes
•Deliver Dynamics GP demonstrations to customers and prospects
•Keep current on government financial requirements & trends
•Ability to work in performance based environment with quotas set for product sales and service revenue
•Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing
•30-40% travel

The primary requirements for the position of the Solution Consultant are:

•The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability of working with executive level management at enterprise customers mapping IT to business initiatives
•5+ years of accounting related experience

•Basic accounting principles
•Government financial accounting experience
•Government HR/payroll processes experience
•Government CAFR experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Business or MIS
