QA Analyst

The candidate for QA Analyst will work within a specific project team to provide QA services to the full development lifecycle of a globally-deployed application with an aggressive delivery schedule. Utilizing their knowledge and experience, the candidate will create and execute testing for this application, with an opportunity to use test automation tools to enhance the test cycle. Critical skill sets for this position include POS testing experience, requirement analysis to test creation, and manual test execution experiences. The current shared-service test team provides QA services, including test case/script preparation and execution, for several global application development teams as part of their development lifecycles. Test team members work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations representatives. Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes - both from using existing processes but also in setting up new and/or modifying existing processes. Familiarity with Requirements, Design and Document review process. Knowledge of testing in a multi-system windows environment.. Hardware and Software setup, configuration and testing in a highly technical environment. Software development experience with a programming language and with scripting a plus. Alternately, a background in support. Experience testing in an agile environment or with an agile vendor. Not required but would be helpful: POS system knowledge is a plus. McDonald's store experience, especially from a managerial level, a plus. Experience with IBM Rational or Jira toolsets Experience with AutomatedQA's automation tools BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. Testing discipline coursework or Certification highly desired.
