The role involves analysis of service operation and performance measures; service level management data collection and analysis; customer surveys; some technical decision making for approval and rejection of standards and policies. In general the QA/IE does not need to be technically cognizant of all areas of the infrastructure. The primary skill of the QA/IEis the ability to extract the best information from customers, subject matter experts, work teams, and business and strategy groups in order to recommend service improvements and new business offerings.In order to function effectively over such a wide array of groups and responsibilities, the QA/IE reports directly to the PM. Individuals filling this position have authority to interact and interface on daily basis with customers, senior Guard leaders and other stakeholders.ITIL/ITSMService ManagementKnowledge of Quality Assurance Customer Service Statistical modelsQuality Assurance. Apply judgment in developing and improving standard operating procedure, and/or deciding when it may be appropriate to deviate from standard operating procedures. Reports on QA activities, and maintains a project file with QA artifacts. Works with PM to identify and resolve quality issues. Participates in process improvement initiatives. Works with senior management to identify and resolve significant systemic and isolated quality issues.
