To learn more, visit http://www.lionbridge.com. Position Description This staff augmentation is to support the implementation and execution of the monthly maintenance release process. The requested Test Analyst will be working with the project team creating test plans, test cases as well as test execution.Responsibilities / Deliverables Review and validation of test artifacts Create test plans for test objectives (e.g. for System testing, for System Integration testing, for Acceptance testing, etc.) Develop and executes test cases using established templates and guidelines. Develop and reviews effort estimates for writing, executing, and reporting test results based on technical documents and test cases. Prepare verbal and written reports on test results (e.g. defects, status, coverage, trends, pass percentage, etc.) and determines how best to communicate them. Will raise issues directly with key stakeholders. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for large features, applications, or data files. Responsible for providing weekly test status reports to Test Management as well as the Project Management. Participates in design reviews and code reviews. Quick learner and self starter. Required Qualifications / Skills Required mastery of all QA Analyst levels of responsibility. Requires strong oral, written and listening communication skills. Must have knowledge of industry standard Software Development Life Cycles. Knowledge of the types of QA Tools and processes used to manage test case development, defect management, change control, and requirements analysis. Experience in the C# .Net environment. Experience with Oracle database applications Experience with web application applications. Has knowledge of network, and computer architecture basics. Ability to effectively respond to multiple conflicting priorities. Ability to prioritize work and efficiently respond to unexpected changes. Works collaboratively and effectively within a multi-track team of peers. Must demonstrate an ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in collaborative environments. Establishes and maintains open communication to cross-functional partners and within engineering. B.S. Computer Science or equivalent degree. At least 4 years of software quality assurance experience. Desired Qualifications / Skills Experience with PL/SQL, (desktop), Java, VB and Citrix. Experience with mainframe applications is a plus. Knowledge of object-oriented software design concepts and development process. MS Windows user skills including knowledge of MS Office products such as Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Should establish and meet or exceed goals, with input from manager.
