QUALITY CONTROL - DATA CONTROL FINANCIAL SERVICES

Global asset management company located in White Plains, NY has an opportunity available for a Quality Control Specialist.  Perform  basic SDLC process, (Analysis, Desiosgn, Development Testing, Evauation and Implementation) for improved process automation.  This will include the drafting of end user procedures that are "Hands-on-keyboard" detail specific and creation of Before/After flowcharts.  The development of Quality Control reports that monitor and report on data quality issues to internal customers.  After the SDLC process, the QC Data reports are turned over to the Daily AC desk, where the reports are run and results are managed.  Support any Core Services department level automation projects, in one or all SDLC phases.  Such projects may involve technoligical support for migration of functions to India, mass data cleansing efforts, automation of high risk functions, etc.  Communicate effectively with production support of various systems to identify and resolve data quality issues.  Report findings and results to QC team.

REquirements:

4 year degree in Computer Science, Masters Preferred

5 years experience in quality control within the financial services industry supporting Quality Projects or Quality Data.  CAndidate must be proficient in use of SQL, JAVA and ACCESS.
