Regional Sales Manager
One of the world’s leading manufacturers of electronic bill acceptors, coin mechanisms and other unattended transaction systems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, home based position. Their products are currently in widespread use in the vending, soft drink, gaming, amusement, transportation, telecommunications, retail and kiosk markets.
Primary Responsibilites:Developing and executing strategic sales plans and tactical account plans to support successful achievement of the channel goalsContinuously Improving the quality of the company’s market position and brand image through professional, value-based sales presentations. Promote the value of the product through Return-On-Investment models and understand and communicate increased profitability through the products use and application Managing their distributor relationships to ensure alignment of business plans and the efficient and effective use of company and distributor resources Managing responsibility for expense spending, trade budgets, progress reporting and sales forecasts Working internally with associated departments to develop and improve business processes, products, marketing initiatives, advertising, and promotion Participating in and influencing their success at industry trade shows Manage agreed fixed expense budget and marketing trade expenditures budget for region Create sales/marketing strategies and tactics based upon a detailed understanding of the needs of OEMs, distributors, customers/consumers and implementing sales/support plans and actions to achieve agreed region goals Manage sales targets as specified in the operating plan, and develop the sales/market analysis and planning of the region, including the recommendation and achievement of the period forecast. Recommend the routes-to-market strategy for that region within the Industry, including the use of direct and indirect sales resources Develop recommendations to Industry for relevant pricing and advertising and promotion programs for that region to combat specific sales situations Recommend input on key product issues and development needs
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experienceMinimum of 5 years’ sales experience required, experience within the financial services industry required, experience with technology++
