Report Developer

We are a small but growing company looking for technical consultants with 2+ years of development experience.  Having experience in the Energy industry specifically around production accounting and regulatory reporting is desirable but not required.

 

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include:

· Interview system end-users to gather reporting requirements.

· Create report design specifications.

· Create new reports as needed.

· Modify existing reports as required.

· Create and maintain the current report library.

· Provide documentation to explain the logic behind the reports

· Provide any support documentation and transition to client support team.

 

Skills:

· Technical Requirements

o  Ability to translate business requirements into effective reports

o  Experience writing reports in EITHER Microsoft ASP.net or Oracle BI Publisher

o  Highly skilled in Microsoft productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel and Project.

o  2+ years experience with Oracle E Business Suite 11i development and implementation.

o  Experience with SQL, PL/SQL Packages, Procedures and Functions.

o  Experience and highly proficient with oracle development technologies such as Oracle Reports 6i, Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Alerts.

o  Experience with Oracle DBMS:  Oracle 10g, 9i.

o  Experience with the Application Object Library (AOL)

· Soft Skills:

o  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

o  Ability to work well as part of a team.

o  Ability to execute tasks on a timely basis with minimal supervision and to provide timely / accurate status to leadership teams.

o  Experience with project-oriented environments and thorough understanding of typical project delivery methodologies.

o  Exceptional critical reasoning skills around systems, processes and business analysis.

o  Ability to resolve complex issues.
