Our client is one of the nation's largest financial holding companies providing a full range of banking and financial services.  Its core businesses include commercial and retail banking, mortgage financing and servicing, consumer finance and asset management.  Job Description :The architect provides technical leadership, design and subject-matter expertise to engineering, project, and support teams.The architect is a knowledge leader in one or more shared Software Assets with a focus on webMethods, MQ Series & other integration technologies for enterprise-class deployments of multi-consumer environments.In this role, the architect delivers Logical and Physical designs for software assets, Capability Roadmaps, Project input and recommendations to address functional and non-functional technology requirements. This role is accountable for lifecycle architecture of one or more shared software Assets, from inception through maturation and retirement. The architect’s main focus is to ensure designs which provide high quality, reliability, and efficiency in the operation of software assets for project delivery of business value. The role is also accountable for identifying cost savings opportunities and ensuring asset characteristics are well understood by delivery, engineering and support teams.
