Job Description:

Clarkston’s SAP Senior Programmer / Analyst will assist clients to configure and implement their respective SAP systems and serve as a technical programmer/analyst on client engagements.  The SAP Analyst is responsible for the design and development of SAP interfaces with existing legacy systems; coordinating/implementing conversion routines necessary to implement the system successfully, and the development and maintenance of ABAP programs and reports.  They are also responsible for the creation of batch input sessions, programming EDI extracts, developing Screen Painter transactions; utilizing call transactions, conducting code reviews, and providing general technical guidance.  The Analyst is responsible for the programming and configuration of various modules of the SAP system using the ABAP/4 programming language.  In addition, he/she will be involved in various phases of the systems development life cycle; including systems design, construction, testing, training, implementation, and post production support with the SAP R/3 system. 

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

·        At least three years of ABAP/4 programming experience in a consulting role

 

 

·        Hands-on team leadership experience, with a minimum of two full life cycle implementations

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·        3 + years experience with Oracle, VB, or VB.net

 

 

·        Strong working knowledge of SAP XI



 

·        Strong development experience in PL/SQL

·        Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment

 

·        Successful experience collaborating with clients to achieve results within a timely manner
