SAP Basis Administrator

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis administrator to join our IT team and play a key role in the implementation and on-going support of our ECC 6.0/B.I 7.0 system in Newport Beach. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right person to join our team in support of a crucial system.

 

Position Requirements

-  Strong skills in systems analysis, design, development, testing and documentation

-  Strong problem solving skills with well organized and structured work habits

-  Excellent people and communication skills

-  5+ years hands on SAP Basis experience

-  Operations expertise in SAP systems management

-  Solution Manager Expertise

-  Correction and Transport System

-  Implementation of SAP change control process & procedures

-  Backup and recovery procedures including disaster recovery experience

-  Understanding of SAP Security, role designing and security analysis

-  Load and Performance Testing experience

-  Application of Hot Packs and OSS Notes


Knowledgeable of in the following areas would be considered a bonus:
- SAP technical instance landscape design (including Netweaver)
- Middleware
- Portals
- J2EE background

- Microsoft SQL Server

- High Availability & Failover configurations

- A financial services or major consulting firm background


The successful applicant will have the following background:
- 8+ years overall IT experience
- Bachelors and/or a Masters degree
- Identified as an expert go-to person at previous employers
- Developed innovative solutions to resolve implementation and support issues
