SAP Basis Consultant

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for supporting and implementing the SAP landscapes for various clients, with particular focus on Basis, DB2 and AIX. Consultant is expected to work in a "team" environment and will be required to be a part of an on-call rotation. General day to day activities will include - maintenance (table spaces, backup/recovery, DB-tables, indexes, re-orgs, performance tuning/monitoring). Investigate, research, and resolve problems. Follow, Develop, and implement database administration system procedures for maintaining SAP systems. We operate a flexible work environment with a focus on training, R&D and the open sharing and exchange of knowledge among team members.

Requirements

3+ Years Basis experience including R/3 4.7 or ECC 5.0, 3+ years DB2 and AIX experience. Good communication and customer relationship skills required. Experience with BW/BI 3.5/7.0, Security, Portal or other Netweaver 4 applications a plus.

Education:
Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent of 4 yrs related experience plus 5 yrs of related IT experience.
