SAP Deployment/Cutover Manager

SAP Deployment/Cutover Manager Coordinate the plan, build, test, and cutover phases of work for assigned interfaces with the Lines of Business, SAP Analysts, Integration Services, and CMI teams. • Manage and facilitate all testing phase and related cut over activities. • Act as a conduit between all groups to help facilitate the build, test, and cutover work. • Facilitate meetings between all parties involved in the build, test & cutover activities (including internal & external systems). Meeting activities include but not limited to : • Kick-off presentations • Participate in Functional Spec and Message Spec review meetings • Weekly status meetings • Issue resolution • Activities pertaining to various test cycles • Cutover activities • Ensure key milestones are being met and identify/report any potential issues in a time efficient manner. Escalate issues as appropriate to ensure work progresses on schedule. • Responsible for communicating all project timelines and expectations. • Maintain and update Status Tracking spreadsheets. • Follow-up on outstanding questions / issues and work to resolution. • Develop a general high-level understanding of Integration Architecture and be able to communicate the integration process to internal / external parties. Skills Required: • Ability to effectively listen to LOB and SAP functional people as they communicate business requirements. • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) concepts, ideas and processes to users and managers. • Strong time management skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to effectively work well within a team structure and with remote resources • Ability to anticipate potential problems and develop mitigation strategies in advance. • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate a medium to large size group to ensure all parties are appeased • Must be able to display patience while in correspondence meeting set milestones/deadlines • Strong diplomatic skills, patience, and flexibility are a plus • Must be able to give presentations to a wide audience with varying levels of process knowledge • Accountability Nice to have • Good understanding of core modules that will be implemented, integration points across SAP modules, and end to end business processes. • Good understanding of data quality issues and Enterprise Data Management Strategy. • Good understanding of SAP Implementation Methodology. • Good understanding of Solution Manager. • Experienced with Flowcharting (VISIO).   Job Title: SAP Deployment/Cutover Manager Company: Covansys Location: Irwindale, CA Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Information Technology Company: Covansys Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: SAP_48915_CA
