SAP EM Functional Analyst

Join a stable and growing company as an SAP EM (Events Manager) Functional Analyst. This individual will be responsible primarily for successful implementation and support of SAP Products.  Primary role includes providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Assists in the development of project plans (scoping process) as well as individual work plans.  Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses and solves software problems.Analyzes and maps clients’ business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.Facilitates communication with development team to ensure development team has proper information to perform programming enhancements in the most efficient manner.Participates in a project team in the design, develop, test, installation and documentation of application program systems.Applies state-of-the-art programming tools, techniques and database concepts in the development of application systems.Continuously stays abreast of application development tools, techniques and utilities.  Remains current with functional capabilities of the hardware platform on which the applications reside.Maintains/expands client satisfaction & builds credible relationships w/ clients, develops own professional learning of products/technologies and solutions to both clients and fellow colleagues.Continuously strives to achieve department and company goals, under the direction of senior department manager.Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the course of performing assigned duties.Assists in internal activities – helpdesk, prepares training materials, teach on-site courses and provide mentoring/support to less experienced colleagues.Must be able to travel for business related activities on an infrequent basis.Performs other job related duties as assigned by superiors. 

Required Skills: Minimum 8 years professional experience, 2 to 4 years of SAP product application/implementation experience; or 10 to 15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of consulting or systems implementation experience and 1 to 2+ years of SAP product application/implementation experience.Strong time management skills required to participate in projects of a highly complex and detailed nature.Must have good interpersonal and communications skills.
