SAP FI/CO Business Analyst

Basic Function:

The SAP FI/CO Business Analyst is responsible for providing functional/configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the FI and CO modules of SAP to meet business requirements.  Work within Information Technology and with other business groups to prioritize and implement systems solutions, reporting systems, and improving business processes. Identify, plan/build, business cases for SAP implementation prjects in the fI and CO areas.

Essential  Job Functions:Technical expert in identification, design, configuration, coding, testing, and debugging of the FI and CO modules. Act as a functional expert to internal and external customers with particular emphasis on FI/CO. Prepare detailed functional specs for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms. Develop specific knowledge familiarity with SAP software, especially SAP's latest release ECC-6. Function as a team leader for larger, complex matrix projects that include FI/CO modules. Work to implement solutions, i.e. Blueprint, configuration, testing, training, and post-implement support across all sub-modules in FI and CO. Work with other functional IT members in evaluation, customization, adaptation, and implementation of hardware and software application systems.

Incidental Job Function:Develop industry contacts related to the application software installed. Coordinate and manage work performed by vendors and contractors.

Skills Required (education, training, experience, licenses, etc.):Bachelor degree in related Information Technology discipline.  A minimum 6 years of demonstrated working experience with SAP System; FI/CO emphasis preferred.  Working knowledge of SAP ASAP development methodology, and full life cycle application development preferred.  Effective customer service and business systems analysis. Team orientated with the ability to work and communicate effectively with users at all levels.  Strong oral and written communication skills.
