SAP Financial & Controlling (FI/CO) Functional Analyst

Spherion Staffing is currently recruiting for a rewarding opportunity as an SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst to participate on an initial SAP implementation, support future system enhancements, and provide production support.   This position is located in Gulfport, MS with an established and reputable construction company here on the coast.   Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years SAP experience and have participated on a full-lifecycle SAP implementation serving as a team lead or subject matter/configuration expert in the areas of FI/CO, specifically General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Project Systems (PS). Candidates should be experienced in conducting Blueprint sessions and subsequently building and implementing the FI/CO solution in SAP.   After the initial SAP implementation, Position will be responsible for providing SAP support to end users within functional areas of expertise. This includes interacting with end-users to understand requirements, evaluating alternate solutions, providing end user training, communicating status and documenting system changes (e.g. - new reports and functionality) to the appropriate business levels in the organization.  Candidates should also be interested in broadening his or her SAP experience to other relevant areas related to his or her existing knowledge.  Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:  BS Degree, preferably in a technical discipline or the relevant functional discipline  (Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics, Finance) and/or equivalent years of business experience Prior experience in a support or shared service function desired Four years of relevant business experience Expert knowledge of at least three SAP modules e.g. General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Project Systems (PS) Construction or Services Industry experience  Basic understanding of the integration points between the modules and the dependenciesThis position is offered through Spherion Staffing, 2715 Bullis Avenue, Gulfport, MS  39501 Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
