Work closely with client business and IT management on overall SAP strategy, architectural design and architectural review Participate in development and evaluation of proposed solutions within the scope of the Global Common Template Strong experience developing and evaluating SAP solution alternatives from business requirements and based on an existing SAP application to be enhanced. Excellent knowledge of the WM/Logistics environment release 4.6; and general knowledge of all modules. Must have experience in SAP configuration, writing functional specifications, gathering customer requirements, SAP problem solving and trouble shooting. Provide guidance related to architectural design to project teams. Lead resolution of system issues and assist in the identification of system improvements. and the development of solutions to improve business performance. Support implementations and deployment of the existing global template to ensure consistency in operational process to system configuration. Support design and execution of functional and integration test plans and test scripts. Support system testing and production cut-over activities; prepare production cut-over plan in WM/Logistics area; advise on strategies/best practices for migration to production. Solid functional automotive industry knowledge preferred. Position is on-site in Troy, MI and may require travel. 5+ yrs SAP R/3, in release or 4.6 higher. 5+ years Functional WM/Logistics experience in the automotive industry. 2 full life-cycle implementations of SAP projects.. 1+ yearsdeveloping strategies and proposals interpreting client businessrequirements working withASAP Blueprinting functionality.
