SAP Security Managers and Consultants

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Sunera is a risk consulting firm which provides end-to-end business, audit, control, and technology risk solutions to Fortune 1000 companies from its offices in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.  Sunera is closely partnered with “Approva”, the leading provider of continuous controls monitoring and audit software, to deliver training and consulting services to Approva’s growing customer base.  Accordingly, our consulting practice is seeking “application security” minded individuals to join our firm and assist us with deployment of ERP security solutions for large multinational organizations.  We are interested in all experience levels in any of our North American office locations; New York, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, Toronto or Calgary.  Our organizational structure and culture provides our employees with the freedom to succeed in business, develop professionally, and meet their financial goals.  We are free from independence conflicts, scope limitations, and unnecessary bureaucracy, and deliver our services using a “team” approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading and/or assisting with SAP Security engagements including implementing SOD toolsets such as “Approva” through initial system setup and configuration, requirements gathering, “Authorization and Process Insight” rule development and reporting
• Analyzing and evaluating existing key controls in various financial and operational business processes

• Identifying opportunities to replace manual key controls with application controls that can be automatically monitored by Approva’s “BizRights” application
• Project management, including leading and mentoring staff and reviewing deliverables
• Interacting effectively with co-workers and clients at all levels of the organization and facilitating strong working/client relationships
• Travel, as needed, up to 60%

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• 4 plus years of experience delivering ERP integration or security services or working in IT audit in a public or corporate capacity (Sarbanes-Oxley experience a plus and other comparable business experience will be taken into consideration)

• Prior experience configuring or using Approva’s BizRights Platform or Virsa’s Access Controls Suite (e.g. Compliance Calibrator, Firefighter, Access Enforcer, etc.)
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, IT or related field
• An Approva Certified Professional designation would be an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to learn and develop and a strong commitment to teamwork is paramount
