SAP Senior HR Payroll ABAP Developer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: #6454  As a Senior HR, Payroll, CATS ABAP Developer, prepares detailed technical specifications for programs and prepares time estimates for assigned tasks.  Develops the ABAP code using established development methodologies and standards. Creates test data to unit test all functions of the coded programs. Researches and resolves production programming problems.  Is responsible for debugging and modifying programs, as required. Competent at scheduling and monitoring SAP jobs. Has the ability to solve complex problems through research and technical detective work. Has the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:    Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or business related major, with 10 or more years of experience including the following: 10+ years of SAP ABAP programming and development.  Extensive experience in DYNPROs, Ddic, optimizing queries, Smartforms, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, LSMW, list processing, ALV. Extensive in-depth knowledge of the HR, CATS, Payroll tables and related logical databases. Detailed knowledge of SAP project methodology and Change Control procedures. Effective documentation and communication skills. OTHER PARTICULARS:  Must have strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with IT team members as well as business end users. Limited travel.
