We are looking for a well-rounded SAP analyst to drive efficient and effective use of SAP.  Candidates should have functional exposure to FI, CO, SD, MM and/or PP, should have a willingness and aptitude to learn new areas/functionality of SAP and have a desire to work on a small, high-performing team in a flexible and creative environment.

 

The SAP Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting all facets of BBC’s SAP implementation, including:

• Driving optimization of SAP configuration to streamline business processes

• Managing the design, development, implementation and support of system enhancements

• Responding to user issues and requests

 

This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.

 

Ingredients to a successful SAP Systems Analyst:

• Support SAP Business Process Owners to ensure business process design and supporting SAP configuration is in line with the business needs.

• Configure the SAP system to effectively support all business requirements.

• Ensure all standards, policies, and Sarbanes Oxley controls are consistently followed

• Manage tasks through all project lifecycle phases (Define, Design, Develop, Implement and Support).

• Develop specifications & unit testing related to interfaces, conversions, custom programs, reports, user-exits and forms.

 

To be mixed with:

• 3-5 years Information Technology experience, with 2 or more years functional SAP experience, including hands on configuration

• Experience in SD, MM, PP, FI and/or CO Modules desirable.

• Knowledge of the integration points between SAP FI, MM and SD

• Experience with R/3 reporting tools such as ABAP Query and Report Painter

• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computer related degree or equivalent experience
