SENIOR MANAGER - BI/DW PM/ARCHITECT

Please submit all resumes to rcgjobs2@rcgit.com .The BI/DW (Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing) Senior Manager plays a critical role in the vision, design and development of BI/DW solutions for our clients, and has complete life cycle experience in BI/DW over multiple projects.  The Senior Manager must possess strong technical skills, balanced with a strong understanding of several of the following industries: Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Entertainment, and Energy.The Senior Manager will work with RCG IT clients and project teams to craft the full BI/DW solution.  Responsibilities include: - Lead Solution Builds to scope solutions. Project sizing and estimation. - Understand resource requirements for the entire project based on scope and assist the PM in identifying and planning for those resources. - Write the Statement of Work (SOW). - Develop a technical solution design and detail specifications for the full BI solution. Play a lead role in assisting clients to understand best practices in BI/DW solutions design and implementation. - Guide and oversee project teams in managing scope and client expectations through construction, testing and implementation. - Assist in technology tool evaluation and selection, and assist customer in leverage/buy/build decisions.  Experience and Skills include: - Minimum 10 years strong technology implementation with at least 3-5 years in multiple full lifecycle implementations. - Strong understanding and experience in BI Project Management and best practices. - Worked with multiple BI products, including ETL (e.g., Informatica, DataStage), Reporting (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos), Dimensional and Relational Modeling, Relational Database (Oracle, MS/SQL, UDB/DB2). - Strong UNIX and Windows skills. Database design for data warehouses. - Problem solving and conflict resolution. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Our opportunities are numerous...
