This position will design and program technical Oracle applications solutions (based on Oracle Forms, Reports, etc) that support today’s current business needs in accordance with established standards.  Support and improve existing programs for our main ERP system and for additional systems outside of core applications. 

 

 

Must Have:

 Senior Candidate with 4+ years experience in OM (overall 9+ years) Strong Verbal/Written Communication Skills Very Strong knowledge in Apps OM Very good knowledge in PLSQL and SQL Java, OA frame work and XML Publisher is a PLUS

 Requirements:

 

•  4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent experience.

•  3-4 years experience with SQL (advance queries, tuning) and PL/SQL.

•  3-4 years experience with Oracle Forms 6i (using standard templates) and Oracle Reports 6i.

•  A minimum of 2 years development experience in an 11i Oracle Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/FND).

•  2-3 years designing system modules (database layout, forms, reports)

•  Perfect understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces etc.)

•  Complete mastery of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them

•  Master at debugging complex application issues.

•  Oracle Application development in UNIX/Linux preferred.

•  1 year experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.

•  Must have lead experience on projects and ability to guide and review programs created by less experienced developers.

•  Experience with Java is a plus.

•  Experience with Oracle Discoverer a plus.

•  Working knowledge of MS SQL Server is a plus.

•  Working knowledge of Microsoft Projects is a plus.

•  Experience in development life cycle of large projects: requirements gathering, business and technical designs, development, quality assurance, deployment and support and documentation.

•  Ability to evaluate and analyze complex programming logic coding problems and develop solutions within existing parameters.

•  Demonstrate a progression of learning new skills through experience and continuing education.
