Job Description:
Lead a team of QA Engineers in testing enterprise Java-based multi-tear enterprise applications in the area of electronic commerce.
Provide status updates on team progress as well as ongoing assessments of quality and risks of the product release.
Design, plan and execute software qualification during release testing cycle.
Review and provide feedback on product requirements, technical specifications, and release schedule.
Provide technical advice and assistance to junior members of the team on automation strategies and coding options.
Review and provide advice on test case specifications, test plans, bug reports, and setup/configuration issues.
Design and implement automation strategies for automatic product qualification.
Communicate with Product Management to ensure product requirements are understood, implemented and properly validated.
Support development technical leads, support engineers and professional service engineers with technical issues related to the product.
Requirements:
4+ years software QA experience;
BS in CS or related field / experience;
2+ years of experience leading a team of QA engineers;
Knowledge of various testing techniques, approaches and best practices;
Extensive experience on test plan and test case authoring;
